The Murder Gene

When scientists identify a "murder" gene, countries mandate genetic engineering to remove it for all future children in utero or face parental separation at birth.

But in a small, forgotten coastal town, one family chooses a natural birth and forges their son's genetic papers.

Years later, a series of murders in the town draws national attention and the hunt for the perpetrator leads to their son as a prime suspect.

At the center of this show is the question of whether genetics are destiny, whether killers are born or made, the prejudices we keep, and the lengths parents will go to protect their children.
